Serhiy Kapusta

Abstract paintings by Serhiy Kapusta. Exploring silence, texture, light and space. Seeking perfection in imperfection. Serhiy Kapusta is an abstract painter based in Phoenix, Arizona. Working in acrylic and ink on canvas and handmade paper, he builds dark masses of gesture interrupted by a single precise mark — a red line, a sign, a question. His current work brings Japanese calligraphy inside his own abstraction: huge masses, and one thin point.
